8th Street Jam On Calle Ocho Taking Place Sunday, March 14th Offers Miami Music Enthusiasts An Alternative Street Festival Experience!
The 8th Street Jam on Calle Ocho will feature live music by some of Miami’s leading bands,
live art competition, interactive video gaming and guitar jam area as well as great food, beer garden in a private, secure lot north of Calle Ocho’s street festival.
WHO: Kiwanis Club of Little Havana presents 8th Street Jam on Calle Ocho featuring music by DJ Le Spam and the Spam All Stars, Nil Lara, Suénalo, Locos Por Juana, Xperimento, Mayday, Jacob Jeffries Band, Fusik, Artofficial, Ketchy Shuby, Lanzallamas Monofónica. Special appearance by :PITBULL.
WHAT: Miami’s biggest street party just got a little bigger with the addition of an ultra-cool, ultra-local event featuring Miami’s leading bands.
This unique event will take place alongside the Calle Ocho street festival in a private enclosed lot on the Northeast Corner of SW 8th Street and 12th Avenue, featuring lifestyle elements that mirror Miami’s unique culture including: various music genres, art, gaming, food and more. 8th Street Jam will incorporate new elements creating a new event experience at Calle Ocho.
A live art competition will take place as famed Miami artists compete and create the future official “Welcome to Calle Ocho” sign. Interactive activities for all ages including video gaming stations and Gibson guitar jam area. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to hang out on the lawn and enjoy the show from near or far. Beer garden and food court featuring great local restaurant eats. The event will be accessible to ticket holders only.
